I.D. Holders Are A Necessary Part of Workplace Security

I.D. holders might not be the most exciting things on the planet. All things considered, they could be among the most boring. In a perfect world, this is the way it would (should) be.

The reason for the alphabet champions is MONEY. The different sanctioning bodies can ordain their own champion and call their fights championships. More title fights, more money for everybody..even if the so called title holder is a joke.

This is why boxing needs a national commission with a commissioner of boxing to regulate the sport. Under a central commission, there WOULD be only one champion in each division, rules and rankings would be standardized, mismatches and setup fights would be stopped and retired fighters would be taken care of.

As long as there are competing governing bodies in boxing, the sport will continue to dwindle in popularity.
